Bainbridge Hall is named after the founder of the Bolsover Colliery Company and was the original village orphanage. It is now the Community Centre for the surrounding community and an active meeting place for a range of activities.

Refurbished in 2004 it has a new life being home to a Cyber Café and houses the Citizens Advice Call Centre. It has several meeting rooms as well as a modern and well equipped kitchen.

At present it is used by a craft group, elderly citizens self help, inner door sports, weight watchers and many more.

The Hall is run by the Bainbridge Hall Management Committee under a separate constitution and users are invited to join the committee.

The Town Council act as the booking contact for room hire.

The Hall's main room can accommodate up to 160 persons so why not hold your next birthday or anniversary celebrations there? The premises are licenced.
