The Hall was once a Methodist Chapel. In 2003 it was extensively refurbished and nominated for an architectural award.
The Hall is run by a board of trustees and is a registered charity.
It provides accommodation for parties, concerts and local groups as well as other organisations. It is where Homestart Bolsover have their offices.
A notice in the foyer lists the present range of activities and contact names. The groups who presently meet there cater for pre school children, older citizens, indoor sports, the church and many more.
The Hall offers a wide range of facilities and can cater for large parties up to 200 people in the Main hall and 160 in the George Bratt room. The small hall can hold 120 persons and is especially adapted for young children so why not hold your next children's party or alternatively your birthday or anniversary celebrations there? The premises are licenced and a bar can be arranged.
It is also an excellant venue for both large and small meeting groups, training courses and the like, all at competive prices.
Bookings are made by contacting the Town Hall.
